This course consists of 10 different units which will be presented with the following structure:
UNIT 1. - GREETING AND MEETING PEOPLE/INTRODUCING OURSELVES 6
• Grammar:
- Am/is/are (long and short forms)
- I/you; My/your
- What’s your name?
- I’m…/My name is…/This is…
- How are you?
• Vocabulary and everyday English:
- Everyday things (singular and plural nouns)
- Numbers 1-10
- Formal/informal introductions
UNIT 2. - COUNTRIES/NATIONALITIES 9
• Grammar:
- TO BE (positives and negatives, long and short forms)
- Personal pronouns
- Where are you from?
- We aren’t British. We’re American.
• Vocabulary and everyday English:
- Countries and nationalities
- Numbers 11-100
- What’s your phone number?
- How old are you?
UNIT 3. - PROFESSIONS/PERSONAL INFORMATION 12
• Grammar:
- TO BE (positives, negatives, questions and short answers)
- Is she a doctor? – Yes, she is/No, she isn’t.
• Vocabulary and everyday English:
- Jobs
- Personal information (age, address, job, married)
- Social expressions: (hello, good morning/afternoon/evening, good night, goodbye)
